The classic Langtang Valley trek lasts approximately 7 to 8 days. It begins at Syabrubesi, which is a tiny village near the border. The bus/jeep ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi takes approximately 7 hours by road. You then trek to Lama Hotel in the midst of dense forests. This place is at an altitude of approximately 2,470 meters. You'll have monkeys, birds, and rhododendrons all around you.
Then, you reach Langtang village, which lies at an altitude of 3,430 meters. Moreover, the trail opens here with views of snow peaks. Then, you trek to Kyanjin Gompa. At an altitude of 3,870 meters, it is a peaceful place. Trekkers stay here for either one or two nights. They go up to Kyanjin Ri or Tserko Ri for sunrise. These peaks give you a glimpse of Langtang Lirung, Yala Peak, etc.
Langtang National Park and its rare species of flora and fauna are another important part of Langtang Valley Trek Itinerary. The rare red panda can be traced in this Langtang Valley Trek Itinerary.
